BBN-ANG 273 Cultural Studies
- The course is followed by a written exam consisting of a multiple choice test of the contents of the lectures, the handouts and the readings.
- Please note that this exam can be taken as part of the course. However, in terms when the course is not provided (typically in the spring), it is advertised as an "exam course" (vizsgakurzus), which means that students who had taken the course and the exam earlier but failed can take the exam again.
- N.B.: this opportunity is NOT open to those who had not taken the course before.

The Final Exam
- Cultural Studies can be taken as the main or the subsidiary subject at the Final Exam. Those who have written their thesis in an area related to cultural studies will take it as their main subject, but anybody can take it as their subsidiary subject.
- The exam topics are based on the BBN-ANG 271lecture course and require a good understanding and synthesis of the issues raised there. The candidates are required to speak freely about the topics and also to answer the examiners' questions.
