Professor Krisztina Károly honoured with MANYE award

We are pleased to announce that Professor Krisztina Károly has been recognized for her outstanding work with the distinguished award from Magyar Alkalmazott Nyelvészek és Nyelvtanárok Egyesülete (MANYE).

Professor Károly received the honour at the 30th Jubilee Congress of Hungarian Applied Linguistics, held at the Faculty of Humanities, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek, Croatia. The award was presented by MANYE President Gábor Prószéky and Vice President Ágota Fóris.

The Sámuel Brassai Award is granted to professionals who demonstrate exceptional achievement in the field of applied linguistics and actively participate in MANYE activities as members of the association.

Professor Krisztina Károly holds a Doctorate from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and serves as Vice President of MANYE. She is the Director of the Doctoral School of Linguistics at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), where she also leads both the Language Pedagogy and English Applied Linguistics Doctoral Programmes.
